The National Liberal Party (PNL) has decided to support the Niculescu government while remaining in opposition. Meanwhile, the Social Democratic Party (PSD) is holding a crucial meeting to discuss joining the government. PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu announced that the party aims to address Romania's urgent economic issues and will evaluate the government's performance after six months. The PSD has unanimously voted to support the Niculescu Cabinet, which will include 11 ministers from their party. PNL, however, will not join the government but seeks to establish a clear agreement with the new premier.
