BRD își majorează profitul cu 2,5% în primul semestru, la 784 milioane de lei

BRD Groupe Société Générale reported a net profit of 784 million lei in the first half of 2026, marking a 2.5% increase from the previous year, driven by strong lending growth and cost control despite economic challenges. The bank's loan portfolio grew by 11.6%, with corporate loans rising by 16.5%. Deposits increased by 4.1%, while the bank focused on sustainable financing and digitalization, enhancing its mobile app. Operational expenses decreased slightly, and the bank maintained a solid asset quality with a non-performing loan ratio of 2.7%.
