BRD a acordat finanțări sustenabile de 2,63 miliarde de euro din 2021

Flavia Popa, Secretary General of BRD Groupe Société Générale, announced that the bank has provided sustainable financing of €2.63 billion since 2021. She emphasized that true progress requires collaboration among various sectors, including science, business, public institutions, and civil society. During the Climate Change Summit, she highlighted the importance of trust in fostering cooperation for sustainable solutions. Popa stated that financing is just one part of the solution and called for a human-centered approach to addressing climate challenges. The Climate Change Summit 2026, focusing on sustainable transition solutions, is taking place in Bucharest from October 13 to 18, with the main event on October 14.
