The Romanian Space Initiative (ROSPIN) has been chosen as the Local Organizer for the BraveTechEU DefTech Forges in Romania, scheduled for November 9-13, 2026. This initiative aims to accelerate defense and dual-use technologies, providing a platform for startups and innovators to test their solutions in real operational conditions. The event will focus on four key themes, including unattended ground sensors and autonomous drone systems. Winning teams will receive funding and mentorship, with applications open until September 6, 2026. The initiative highlights Romania's growing defense innovation ecosystem.
