Brașov has developed a new tourism strategy aimed at enhancing visitor experience and reducing short-term rentals. The plan seeks to shift focus from transient tourism to longer stays, targeting a 25% increase in visitor duration by 2034. It emphasizes sustainable tourism, improved infrastructure, and the promotion of local gastronomy. The strategy includes measures to manage tourist flow, enhance the city’s appeal year-round, and develop a new exhibition center. Key objectives involve increasing the number of registered accommodations and creating a vibrant local dining scene. The plan outlines 325 actions to be implemented by 2034, with specific milestones set for each year.
