Brașovul, lovit de fenomenul muncii la negru: Sancțiunile aplicate firmelor au explodat

In August, the number of individuals working illegally in Brașov nearly tripled compared to July, with significant increases in employer penalties. Inspectors conducted 91 checks, identifying 19 unregistered workers and sanctioning eight employers with fines totaling 460,000 lei. This marks a notable rise in illegal employment cases in the first eight months of the year. In July, only seven illegal workers were found, and two employers were fined 280,000 lei. The penalties have increased due to a legal change in December 2025, raising fines for employers hiring unregistered workers from 20,000 to 40,000 lei.
