Brașov will have a new football stadium in two years, with an investment of 164 million lei. The arena will have a capacity of 9,716 seats and will host international sports events and cultural activities. The project includes the construction of four new stands around the existing playing field, which will be preserved. The old stadium, built in 1937, will be demolished due to its advanced state of degradation. The mayor announced that the contract for the new stadium's design and construction has been signed, and the current infrastructure will be dismantled soon. The multifunctional facility will feature amenities for spectators, including spaces for leisure, a café, a restaurant, a fitness room, green areas, and parking.
