Braşovul declară război "turismului de covrig". Ce îi aşteaptă pe cei care vin în oraș doar pentru câteva ore
Brașov aims to enhance its tourism appeal by encouraging longer stays from visitors. Authorities plan to develop terrace areas similar to Barcelona and promote local cuisine and cultural events. Currently, many tourists only visit briefly, leading to the term "pretzel tourism." Statistics show that Romanian tourists spend an average of 1.9 days in Brașov, while foreign tourists stay slightly longer. Future plans include pedestrian routes, free public transport for hotel guests, and increased parking fees to discourage short visits. Local residents are also being consulted for ideas to improve tourism strategies.
