On September 12, Brașov will host Stage 4 of the 2026 Tour of Romania, a major cycling event in Southeast Europe. The stage, covering 165 kilometers from Brașov to Ploiești, will start at 10:00 AM from Piața Sfatului. This event highlights Brașov's role as a key location for significant sports competitions, attracting 23 teams from 16 countries. The local community is encouraged to support the cyclists and enjoy the festive atmosphere. The Tour runs from September 9 to 13, featuring five stages and over 800 kilometers, with the opening ceremony in Chișinău on September 8. The event will be broadcast live on Prima Sport 3 and social media platforms.
