Foreign Minister Elmedin Konakovic stated that he would remove as many embassy members as possible without needing approval from other state institutions. However, the ambassador and consul will remain in their positions due to the requirement for tripartite presidency approval. The funeral, attended by Serbian officials, was marked by military honors, raising concerns about the glorification of war criminals. The High Representative's office warned that such actions hinder reconciliation efforts. Croatia's Foreign Minister criticized the glorification of Mladić as incompatible with EU values.
