The Chamber of Deputies approved a law to reward performance in the fiscal and customs administration, with 208 votes in favor. The law establishes an annual financial reward mechanism based on key performance indicators for the National Agency for Fiscal Administration and the Romanian Customs Authority. The total rewards cannot exceed 12% of the approved salary budget. Employees failing to meet performance indicators may face a 10% salary reduction until the next evaluation.
