Bolojan respinge acuzațiile privind golirea barajelor și apără renunțarea la cărbune: „Era o necesitate economică”
Former Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan denied accusations that the government contributed to the energy crisis by draining reservoirs, stating maintenance was necessary. He defended the replacement of coal plants, citing their economic inefficiency, while criticizing the delay in building gas plants. Bolojan emphasized the importance of maintenance for hydroelectric infrastructure to prevent serious issues. He acknowledged the need for a transition from coal to gas but pointed out that Romania failed to replace old plants in time. He also criticized the management of the energy sector, attributing the situation to poor decisions and incompetence. Bolojan highlighted the imbalance in energy production and the lack of storage capacity, leading to reliance on expensive energy imports at night.
