Bolojan pune frână așteptărilor bugetarilor: „Sub nicio formă nu pot fi acoperite toate solicitările”

Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated that Romania cannot spend more than 8.1% of GDP on public sector salaries until 2030. The new salary law aims to correct inequalities and ensure predictability in public sector wages. Bolojan emphasized the importance of this legislation for maintaining economic sustainability and credibility with European partners. He noted that the law should address salary disparities among employees in similar roles and limit political pressures that could lead to unsustainable wage increases. The government is committed to reducing public salary expenditures to 7.9% of GDP by 2030.
