Bolojan le răspunde sindicatelor: „Sunt solicitări care, sub nicio formă, nu pot fi acoperite”

Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan warned unions that salary demands exceeding Romania's economic capacity cannot be accepted. He emphasized the risks of increasing public sector salaries beyond sustainable limits, which could negatively impact the country's credit rating. Bolojan outlined budgetary constraints for the new salary law, stating that public salary expenses currently account for 8.1% of GDP, with a target of 7.9% by 2030. He highlighted the need for fairness in salary distribution among public employees and the importance of considering private sector wages. The new salary law is crucial for accessing €770 million from the PNRR.
