Bolojan le cere românilor să reducă voluntar consumul de energie

Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced a national state of alert in the energy sector due to decreased electricity production caused by drought. He urged both public authorities and citizens to voluntarily reduce energy consumption during peak hours, especially in the evening. A section of the Danube will be diverted to ensure the operation of the Cernavodă nuclear power plant. Bolojan also discussed emergency assistance from Ukraine to support Romania's energy needs. He emphasized the importance of voluntary energy savings and maximizing production from all available sources to maintain the national energy system.
