Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan criticized PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu regarding a delayed water project on the Danube. Bolojan highlighted the project's stagnation at the Ministry of Transport for four years, which could have alleviated the current water crisis. He urged the interim Transport Minister to expedite the project to increase water flow for Cernavodă's cooling needs. Controlled detonation of rock on the Bala Arm is a step towards ensuring necessary water levels for the nuclear plant. Currently, 85% of the Danube's flow is directed to the Bala Arm, leaving only 15% for the Old Danube.
