Bolojan: Guvernul pregătește limitarea obligatorie a consumului pentru marii consumatori

The Romanian government plans to temporarily limit energy consumption for large industrial users if voluntary reductions are insufficient during peak hours. This measure, announced by interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, will only be implemented if necessary. Following consultations with major energy consumers, the government aims to manage the energy crisis exacerbated by severe drought and reduced production. Notifications may be sent 24 hours in advance for consumption limits. The government is also monitoring the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant's operations and ensuring fuel supply stability.
