Bolojan, după oprirea centralei nucleare de la Cernavodă: Fac un apel către marii investitori industriali să aibă în vedere o reducere a consumului, mai ales seara, atunci când avem deficit de energie
Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan urged major industrial consumers to reduce energy usage, especially in the evening, following the shutdown of the Cernavodă nuclear plant. He highlighted the significant drop in water levels from the Danube, affecting the plant's operation. The first reactor was shut down, resulting in a loss of 550 MW, and the second reactor is also expected to be halted, leading to a total loss of around 1,300 MW, nearly 20% of daily energy consumption. Bolojan emphasized the need for increased energy imports and alternative production methods during peak hours.
