Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan and Moldovan Prime Minister Vasile Tofan discussed energy crises and joint projects during Tofan's visit to Bucharest. Bolojan highlighted ongoing coordination between Romania and Moldova's energy ministries to address current security challenges. They talked about two new 400 kV interconnection lines aimed at enhancing energy security and exchange capacity. Bolojan expressed hope for EU negotiations with Moldova to progress by year-end, noting Moldova's achievements in the accession process. Romania will continue to support Moldova within the EU, leveraging its member state experience.
