Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan expressed confidence that Timișoara Mayor Dominic Fritz will retain his mandate despite the Integrity Law. Bolojan stated that if Fritz were to lose his position, PNL and USR would collaborate to support a candidate agreed upon with Fritz. He acknowledged the difficulty of supporting the ANI Law and emphasized the importance of compliance with European regulations. Bolojan hopes that the European Commission will quickly verify the law's adherence to EU legislation, allowing for necessary corrections to be made.
