Bolojan: Dacia and Ford have voluntarily halted production starting today, until August 19

Dacia and Ford will suspend production until August 19 to save energy, contributing to a reduction of around 200 MW in consumption. The Acting Prime Minister emphasized the importance of voluntary measures from companies and citizens to lower energy use during peak hours. Other companies are expected to follow suit, and a potential government decision may introduce consumption limits for large consumers if necessary. The interim Minister of Energy urged local authorities to reduce lighting and building activities during evening hours to further conserve energy.
