Bolojan: „Cetățenii nu vor fi deconectați”. La nevoie, Transelectrica va putea limita consumul marilor fabrici • Newsweek România

Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan assured that residential consumers will not face electricity disconnections, even as Transelectrica may limit industrial consumption during peak hours. The measures will only affect industrial clients connected to the National Energy System and will be implemented with a 24-hour notice. Bolojan emphasized that essential services, such as hospitals, will be exempt. The government is also negotiating with neighboring countries for electricity imports during high demand periods. Maintenance work on energy production units has been expedited to ensure sufficient capacity.
