Bolojan: „Cetățenii nu vor fi deconectați”. La nevoie, Transelectrica va putea limita consumul marilor fabrici
Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan assured that energy consumption restrictions will not affect households, focusing instead on industrial consumers during peak hours. The government plans to implement measures allowing Transelectrica to limit electricity supply to certain industries, with a 24-hour notice. Bolojan emphasized that essential services like hospitals will be exempt. The government is also negotiating electricity imports with neighboring countries to meet demand. Maintenance work on energy units has been expedited to increase production capacity, particularly at the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant. Bolojan noted that current energy system operations are normal, but preventive measures are being prepared.
