Bolojan anunță încasarea unor bani PNRR care nu pot fi „încasați”

The Romanian government, led by Ilie Bolojan, announced efforts to secure 770 million euros related to milestone 431 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). However, this amount represents a potential penalty from the European Commission for non-compliance, not funds to be received. The milestone requires updating integrity standards in public functions, and the government believes it has solid grounds to justify compliance through the adoption of a new integrity law. Despite this, concerns about adherence to European law persist, prompting calls for a swift evaluation of compliance. This announcement follows a recent confirmation of losing another 770 million euros due to non-fulfillment of milestone 420 regarding salary legislation, highlighting confusion over the amounts involved.
