Bolojan anunță că centrala Iernut intră în probe în iarnă

Former Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan announced that the Iernut gas power plant is expected to begin testing this winter and operate at full capacity by early next year. This 430 MW facility is crucial for Romania's energy system, aiming to replace coal units and address energy production deficits in central and western regions. Romgaz has taken over the project, which is 90% complete, and is working to finalize contracts with subcontractors. The goal is to have the plant operational by the end of the year, contributing to energy balance and supporting local economic activities.
