Bolojan: „Am stabilit cu marii consumatori măsurile privind reducerea voluntară a consumului de energie în orele de seară”. Dacia și Ford opresc producția până pe 19 august – Aleph News
The Romanian government, led by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, has implemented voluntary energy consumption reduction measures with major consumers to ensure energy supply during peak evening hours. Companies like Dacia and Ford will halt production until August 19, saving approximately 200 MW. Authorities are also reducing architectural lighting and preparing a mechanism to limit consumption if voluntary measures are insufficient. The Danube's low water levels are impacting hydroelectric production, leading to increased energy imports to cover deficits, particularly in the evening hours.
