Ilie Bolojan, leader of PNL, convened an emergency meeting to discuss support for the new government led by Luca Niculescu. This follows reports that President Nicușor Dan is ready to dissolve Parliament and call for early elections. Bolojan emphasized the need for a vote on the new government due to the economic situation and political crisis. After the meeting, PNL spokesperson Ionel Bogdan confirmed the party's willingness to support Niculescu's government to resolve the political instability. Senator Vasile Blaga stated that PNL would back the new government if it continues the commitments of the previous administration. Meanwhile, PSD is also meeting to discuss its involvement in the new government, with leader Sorin Grindeanu proposing three government options, favoring a coalition with PNL and UDMR.
