Bolnavi, păcăliți să facă credite pentru a cumpăra aparate medicale "vitale", la suprapreț
Several elderly individuals in Bucharest were deceived by employees of a fake health center into purchasing overpriced medical devices. The scammers convinced them that their health depended on these devices, leading many to take out loans. The suspects operated an illegal business since last summer, luring victims with free medical consultations. They sold items like oxygen concentrators and therapeutic mattresses at inflated prices, resulting in significant financial losses for the victims. Authorities have identified 12 victims with estimated damages exceeding 300,000 lei. The main suspect has been arrested, while others are under judicial control, facing potential prison sentences for fraud.
