Bogdan Ivan: The project for new energy storage facilities “sat in a drawer for four months”
Former Energy Minister Bogdan Ivan criticizes the late announcement of a 150 million euro energy storage project, claiming it was delayed for months. He highlights that the project was initially launched last December and approved by the European Commission in March. Ivan points out that the timeline for project submissions and contract signings has been pushed back, affecting Romania's energy costs. Despite his criticism, he acknowledges the importance of the project moving forward, emphasizing the need for genuine progress in energy initiatives.
