Bogdan Ivan rupe tăcerea, după articolul din Wall Street Journal: „Faceți exact retorica Federației Ruse în regiunea noastră”

Former Energy Minister Bogdan Ivan responded to allegations regarding a meeting with U.S. officials, claiming the accusations are false and politically motivated. He emphasized that Romania has not negotiated any gas contracts and criticized the current government for failing to provide clear mandates. Ivan highlighted a memorandum signed in Greece that allowed for technical discussions about gas projects, which could benefit Romania economically. He warned that rejecting U.S. gas could increase dependence on Russian energy and accused opponents of the project of echoing Russian rhetoric. Ivan argued that additional gas supplies from the U.S. would alleviate pressure on Romania's energy market.
