TAROM has officially added its second Boeing 737 MAX 8, named after canoe champion Ivan Patzaichin, which will make its inaugural flight to Chișinău. The flight celebrates 100 years of air travel between Romania and Moldova, with a ceremonial water salute planned at the destination. The airline aims to acquire two more such aircraft, continuing its tradition of honoring notable Romanian figures in sports.
