The National Trade Union Bloc (BNS) urges the Romanian Parliament to summon the National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) to address delays in authorizing new energy production and storage capacities. BNS highlights that over 50 operators are awaiting licenses, which, if issued timely, could have added significant production capacity to the market. The union emphasizes the urgency of resolving these delays, especially during an energy crisis, as they threaten local economic development and may lead to the loss of non-reimbursable funding. BNS expects ANRE to provide a comprehensive report on the status of license applications and the reasons for the delays.
