BNR ridică prognoza de inflație la 6,1%. Energia amenință cu un nou val de scumpiri, iar un scenariu și mai dur nu este exclus
The National Bank of Romania has revised its inflation forecast for the end of the year from 5.5% to 6.1% due to energy sector issues. Rising energy costs are the main factor influencing this change, although food prices are somewhat mitigating the inflation increase. The ongoing crisis in the Middle East poses additional risks to the inflation outlook, particularly regarding oil prices and domestic energy resources. Romania continues to have the highest annual inflation rate in the EU at 8.2%.
