BNR lansează prima monedă în formă de tablou din seria 'Pictori români'

The National Bank of Romania is issuing a silver coin to commemorate 140 years since the birth of painter Nicolae Tonitza. This colored coin, shaped like a painting, features the artwork 'Yellow Flowers' and is the first rectangular coin issued by the bank. It has a nominal value of 10 lei, weighs 31.103 grams, and measures 43x31mm. The coin comes with a presentation brochure and authenticity certificate, and only 500 pieces will be available for sale at 1,150 lei each. The coins will be distributed through regional branches in several cities.
