BNR lansează o nouă monedă pe 24 august 2026. Cum arată și cât costă piesa dedicată unui celebru pictor român

The National Bank of Romania will launch a new series of coins dedicated to Romanian painters, starting with Nicolae Tonitza on August 24, 2026. This coin is unique as it is the first rectangular piece issued by BNR, made of silver with a nominal value of 10 lei. It features a colored avers depicting Tonitza's 'Yellow Flowers' and has a limited mintage of 500 pieces, aimed at collectors. Each coin will come in a protective capsule and include a presentation brochure and authenticity certificate. Priced at 1,150 lei, the coins will be available at BNR branches across Romania.
