The National Bank of Romania is issuing a silver coin to commemorate the 150th anniversary of writer Hortensia Papadat-Bengescu's birth. The coin costs 1,050 lei and includes a presentation brochure and authenticity certificate. It features a design inspired by her novel 'Concert din muzică de Bach' and has a limited mintage of 300 pieces. The coin's obverse displays the country's coat of arms and the year of issue, while the reverse showcases the writer's portrait and lifespan. The coins are packaged in transparent capsules and are legal tender in Romania.
