BNR lansează o bancnotă dedicată lui Eugeniu Carada, întemeietorul Băncii Naționale a României

The National Bank of Romania will issue a commemorative banknote celebrating Eugeniu Carada's 190th birthday. The banknote, measuring 147 x 82 mm, features a blue color scheme and is printed on polymer with mixed techniques. It includes a transparent window with a multitone portrait of Carada and various security features to prevent counterfeiting. The reverse side showcases the Old Palace of the National Bank and includes anti-counterfeiting text. The banknote will be launched on September 14, 2026, alongside an exhibition dedicated to Carada's legacy.
