BNR estimează o scădere puternică a inflației în toamnă • Știri Brașov Biz Brasov
The National Bank of Romania predicts a significant decrease in inflation in the third quarter of 2026, despite current high levels. Inflation fell slightly to 10.42% in June, driven by lower food and fuel prices, but pressures remain due to rising energy costs. The economy is facing challenges, with a 1.2% annual decline in GDP and contracting household consumption. The bank expects inflation to return to target levels by the end of 2027, supported by weakening domestic demand. While some sectors show signs of recovery, industrial production continues to decline.
