Continuous monitoring and advanced cyber resilience tests have shown that banks are generally prepared for potential crises. The central bank emphasizes the importance of cash in the monetary system and advises that cash and digital financial services should be viewed as complementary. Deposits are guaranteed up to €100,000 per depositor, and the bank discourages panic withdrawals.
