BMW anunță că va reduce mii de posturi, într-o nouă lovitură pentru industria auto germană

BMW plans to cut thousands of jobs in Germany by the end of next year due to declining profits and weak demand. The voluntary departure program will affect administrative and development divisions, excluding production. Approximately 8,000 positions are expected to be eliminated. Other German automakers like Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen have also announced significant job reductions amid challenges in the automotive industry. BMW's CEO noted fundamental changes in the industry, prompting the need for cost-cutting measures to enhance profitability.
