Bloomberg: UE ar putea impune cote de import asupra unor mărfuri din China / Germania ar vrea ca propunerile să fie prezentate până la finalul anului
The European Union is assessing trade data to potentially impose import quotas on additional goods from China and other countries. This follows a recent agreement to limit hybrid vehicle imports from China. Member states, particularly Germany, are urging swift action to address the significant trade deficit with China, which reached 360 billion euros in 2025. The EU aims to protect local industries from low-cost Chinese goods and is preparing proposals to diversify suppliers and tackle overcapacity. The European Commissioner for Trade will continue discussions with Chinese counterparts early next year.
