Bloomberg: Flota din umbră a Rusiei folosită pentru transportul de gaze lichefiate s-a dublat în ultimul an
Russia has nearly doubled its fleet of LNG transport ships in under a year, aiming to boost exports despite Western sanctions. Bloomberg reports that at least 20 vessels, primarily from a shadow fleet, are now servicing the Arctic LNG 2 project. This increase comes as Russia seeks new markets for its LNG, previously supplied to Europe via pipelines. The Arctic LNG 2 project faces logistical challenges due to its remote location in Siberia, but the addition of new icebreaker ships is expected to enhance production capacity. Analysts have raised production estimates for 2026, indicating progress despite previous struggles.
