Bloggerul militar rus arestat în Muntenegru a fost expulzat din motive de „siguranţă naţională”
Mihail Zvinciuk, founder of the military blog Rîbar, was expelled from Montenegro along with other Russian citizens due to national security concerns. He was arrested for allegedly spreading Russian influence and planning hybrid operations related to Kremlin propaganda. Montenegro's authorities labeled Zvinciuk and his group as threats to national security. The Rîbar channel, which has around 1.6 million subscribers, provides updates on the war in Ukraine. Dmitri Medvedev criticized Europe for targeting Russians and called for a fund to recover detained individuals. Zvinciuk is on UK sanctions lists for supporting Russia's actions in Ukraine and was previously linked to Yevgeny Prigozhin's financing. The US offered a reward for information on individuals managing Rîbar's social media channels, alleging they promoted Russian political interests before the 2024 elections.
