The death toll from the recent earthquakes in Venezuela has risen to 6,125, with ongoing searches for missing persons. Nearly 1,400 individuals are still unaccounted for, and estimates suggest the number could reach 10,000. Significant damage has occurred, with 190 buildings collapsed and over 856 damaged. More than 24,000 displaced individuals are currently living in temporary camps. The Venezuelan parliament has passed a law to increase rental housing availability for those who lost their homes.
