Bilanț PNRR: Câți bani a primit România și cât dă înapoi
The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) in Romania has faced significant reductions, dropping from an initial 29.2 billion euros to just over 20 billion euros after multiple negotiations. As of now, Romania has received around 13 billion euros, with 3.5 billion euros needing to be returned to the EU. The plan's implementation has been marred by challenges, including unmet milestones and governance issues, leading to blocked funds. The final deadline for fulfilling the plan's targets is August 31, 2026, with the country still able to submit payment requests based on completed milestones.
