BID: Romania allocates EUR 50 million to Three Seas Initiative Infrastructure Fund

The Investment and Development Bank of Romania has committed EUR 50 million to the Three Seas Initiative Infrastructure Fund, enhancing regional infrastructure financing. This agreement follows a memorandum signed in April 2026 and aims to mobilize EUR 2 billion for strategic projects across the region. The fund, managed by the European Investment Fund, will attract both institutional and private capital, with Romania being a major contributor alongside other nations. The initiative seeks to improve regional connectivity and economic competitiveness among EU member states.
