Biblioteca de obiecte, locul de unde poți împrumuta lucruri pe care le folosești rar. Cum funcționează? • Newsweek România

The Object Library is a new concept where public libraries offer items for temporary borrowing, expanding beyond traditional book lending. Established in Romania in 2018 at the Goethe Institute in Bucharest, it allows users to borrow tools, sports equipment, and more for free. The initiative promotes sustainability and community sharing, addressing the needs of local populations. Other similar libraries have emerged, including one in Pietrari, Vâlcea, which is the first formal rural object library. Recently, Dolj County libraries announced the introduction of an Object Library Corner, further enhancing community resource sharing.
