BERD acordă un credit de 120.000.000 € pentru creșterea producţiei de energie fotovoltaică în România • Newsweek România
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a €120 million loan to support the development of the Părău 2 solar project in Romania, which includes a 342 MW solar power plant and a 150 MW/300 MWh battery storage system. This initiative aims to enhance renewable energy production, improve grid flexibility, and strengthen Romania's energy security. The financing consists of an A loan of up to €57 million and a B loan of up to €63 million, with additional support from other banks and the EU's InvestEU program. The project will facilitate the integration of more variable renewable energy into Romania's electricity system, reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
