Fuel prices in Romania are rising daily, with standard gasoline exceeding 10 lei per liter. Diesel prices range from 10.91 to 10.95 lei per liter. The cheapest fuel is found in Lungulețu and Pitești. The EU faces significant costs due to rising fuel prices, averaging 270 million euros daily, primarily driven by diesel. Since the start of the Iran war, the EU has incurred around 53 billion euros in additional fuel costs, with diesel accounting for 40 billion euros.
