Benzina s-a scumpit cu aproape 28% în Europa după izbucnirea războiului din Iran. Cât din salariul minim costă acum un plin în România

Fuel prices in Europe have surged significantly due to the Iran conflict and Middle Eastern tensions, with gasoline rising by 27.8% and diesel by nearly 40% from February to September. For minimum wage earners in Romania, the impact is severe, as filling a 50-liter tank of gasoline costs 11.5% of the gross monthly minimum wage, while diesel costs 12.7%. The average price of gasoline in the EU increased from €1.637 to €2.092 per liter, while diesel rose from €1.594 to €2.226. This price hike is linked to the energy shock from the Middle Eastern conflict and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. Countries with lower minimum wages, like Romania, face a heavier burden compared to those with higher wages, such as Luxembourg, where fuel costs represent a much smaller percentage of the minimum wage.
